Are you bemused by what you see in this election, especially on the Democratic party side? I certainly am. Someone else I admire put it this way:

This is not an election. This is a beauty contest for carefully chosen proxies of different business interests. The ultimate policies of these interests are not projected to be substantially different.

It is disgusting to me to watch this "beauty contest" unfold, and I am particularly disturbed by both of the front-runner Democratic candidates. I do not like or trust either one of of them.
