Jack
Quite a few have dropped out, so it is time to do this again.

First Kucinich, then he dropped out.
Then Edwards, then he dropped out.
And now Obama, always seeking the most progressive candidate.

I think it has to be Obama now. (I can't see Gravel lasting much longer. To be honest, I thought he'd already ducked out!)

He'd have to choose to leave, and he won't.
think about his one man stand in congress. he didn't leave then, he won't leave now.
I might just have to vote for him.

Props to jack for including him in the poll.

A truly inspirational leader is an extraordinary thing. It seems that there are times in history when a leader comes along who posesses a charisma that trancends the strengths and weaknesses of the individual himself and can transform masses of people to positive action. Sometimes negative too, but still a powerful transforming force. I refer here to the positive. It seems Obama might be a candidate like this. Inspiring first the young, who may have spent a lifetime without inspiration. Those of us who lived through the sixties and the assassinations, within a few short years, of all those who inspired us have become more pessimistic and jaded, perhaps reluctant to believe that anyone can rekindle within us the hopeful idealism of our youth. And so...we come along more slowly. Enthusiasm for Obama seems to be growing exponentially, and I hope those converts aren't being naive. I will cautiously cast my lot with him.

Potential is there, and along with potential comes hope. (don't tell AFW)
Time will tell.

Yup. Me too. I'm apprehensive, but it seems the wisest choice.

Agreed on both counts.
Seems of all available and viable options, Obama is the best chance choice.
