Well, I see your point, Seusser. I do. But I don't know, I'm not particularly possessive over my art. I guess you are probably unaware, but I was a professional artist back in K.C. I had solo shows and was a minor celebrity in some circles. Since I had to sell my babies, it's just natural for me to not give it another thought. Plus, I see my stuff all over the place. It just seems natural that it'd be popping up on TV every now and again. My art is just here to decorate the world. Where and when it shows up really isn't of consequence to me. Maybe that's stupid, but I dunno. I'm pretty easy about my art.
Now here's the funny thing... Didja know that Time-Warner Home Video tried to cheat me out of the rights to that graphic? They offered me a sum of money to allow them to use it in a documentary. When I received their copy of the license agreement, it was basically signing over the exclusive rights to it, "reproduced in any fashion, including methods of reproduction not yet invented
for perpetuity." Bonus: It was supposed to be for a CLINT EASTWOOD documentary! I shit you not.

BTW, one of my graphics will be sold by the Syracuse Cultural Workers something-or-other. I'll get royalties and they were fair about the license agreement. Very very nice people. Some day I'll tell you all the story about how 20 years of my best work came to adorn the walls of the homeless peoples' shanties on the edge of the Missouri river in KC. =-)
