I believe that as time goes buy progressive change will be slow. So slow that it won't be noticed from day to day.
But like a really bad headache after the Tylenol has been taken, all of a sudden you notice it doesn't hurt anymore.

I believe that one day we'll look back and be amazed at how far we let things go, and how close it was to being unstoppable. Unfortunately I think by then our greater and much more dire concern will be global climate change.
