The dopey one with the really guilty look on his face.

Oh wait, that was all of them.
seuss
priceless...
is the intention behind this and other overwhelming corruption and incompetence to get us so mad as to act and be branded as terrah-wrists? If it is, they're doing a damn good job.

Maybe Strauss was right.

About what?
Jesus!
About the unworthiness of the people.

About the unworthiness of the people.

I challenge any member of this forum to name one person that you know personally,
that you can state to be without question, unworthy.

The fact that you don't like them, or agree with them, is not satisfactory reason,
and though it's certain that some of these poor humans do exist,

they are rare!
Jesus!
I'm no elitist, citizen. Nor was I referring to anyone here.

"Unworthy" is too subjective a word as well perhaps; though I doubt Leo would object.

My point quite simply was that Leo was and is wrong.
When we decide to generalize we allow any number of bad things to happen.
But when we think of people as being a collection of invividuals just like you and me,
then we see the untruth in the generalization.

Example.

We know that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's have been killed in this war.
When we think of this fact in these general terms, we can minimize the pain and even ignore it.
But if everyday we were forced to see an image of every single human being killed in that war, eventually we couldn't deal with it emotionally and the war would end due to universal heart ache.

Why do you think Bush and company doesn't want pictures of the coffins of returning US servicemen and women?

Leo was and is wrong.
Every human being deserves the chance to have their liberty AND live in peace.
Jesus!
Yes, all good people deserve liberty and peace.

But Leo's in charge, and the people don't know him.

Considering that nearly every primary and or Caucus held so far has drawn record numbers of citizens out from their comfort zones, maybe things are lookin up, eh?
