Last night I had a long talk with JJ. I explained about friendship and responsibility and the need to pull his own weight, and I explained the dynamics of the economy and that the cost of groceries have gone sky hight lately, and that as much as he enjoys car rides, at $3 a gallon that's certainly not a free activity, and that if he wants to keep getting cheese shavings on his dinner, well, he's gotta get his doggy ass up off the couch and he's gotta get a job!

I have a feeling he's not taking me very serious.
