Full Version: How Should I Get Rid of Old Computer Parts?
OLD American Century / White Rose Society message boards > General > The Watercooler

We are in the process of cleaning out our basement and since my brother is a computer freak (and a douche bag and an asshole and a dip shit), we have a bunch of old computer parts in our basement. Nothing that really has any value any more, just really old stuff. How can i get rid of those. I don't just want to throw them in the trash but i don't know if can recycle them. Does anyone know how i can get rid of them?

That sounds like a lot of work. Maybe i should just dump it all into the river.

How difficult is it to make a phone call?

Call them and tell them what you got and where you're at.
They'll tell you whatyour options are.

Computer chips do really cool things in a microwave (though that it may cause cancer and punch a gaping hole in the ozone above your house.)

Good idea. I know a couple of my local freecyclers are always re-furb'ing old computer (and parts), turning them into useful, working computers and redistributing them!

Put some NASA stickers on them and build a trebuchet and launch them into someone else's yard in the middle of the night. They'll think it's part of a crashed space craft.

Maybe include parts from one of TJ's halloween corpses and REALLY freak out the neighborhood?

Heck, with a little creativity you could make like, Area 52!

Watching a trebuchet fling a piano was one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed in all my historical "research".
