It is a balmy 5 degrees (Fahrenheit, that's -15 for Celsius) outside not counting wind chill, and it's always windy here.
I think my toes are frozen together.

It's a beautiful, sunny day here, with a gentle sea breeze, and about 15 ° C.

Brrrrr Cold here. All the way into the upper 20's!
Coldest temperature I ever lived through was two nights in a row it dropped to 50 below in Montana.
30 and 40 below several times each winter was routine.
I recall one night it was 20 below and the wind was blowing about 40 miles an hour. Damn that was cold.
I actually slept that night with all my clothes on.
Lookin forward to summer again when I only have to wear one layer of clothes.

Backin Montana when the temps got up into the 10's, ya knew it was fixin to snow.
Always had to warm up some first to snow.

Anyway, it is about 40 degrees here, which i am guessing is about 5 degrees Celsius , in northern illinois.

I say a lot of weird things instead of swearing.
Here are some examples that I have said in the past week.
"Son's and Daughters"
"Cripey"
"Oh biscuits"
"Good Gilgamesh"
"Heavens to Betsy"

What is the wind like in your parts? I go to school in an area that is totally surrounded by farms, so there is no protection from the wind. It was in the 20's last night when i was driving home but the wind was torturous. Plus, trying to drive on narrow, crowded roads while snow drifts across isn't fun. There is a second or two where you just flat out can't see. Fortuity is doesn't happen too often and it should start warming up around here soon.

In fact there is an old joke that when the pioneers first came to this area of Utah they said "we'll move on when the wind stops" and so we are still here.
