That is, if clinton wins...

if not, there's no real problem with obama picking who he wants...

is that sexist? To say that race is more important than sex? After all, the sex question is only rumbling below the surface - it won't come out until the general, if necessary.

did you see that comming TJ?
i didn't.

what do you people think?

Trying to decide if "stupid" is more racist than sexist or more sexist than racist... well, it's a waste of brain cells if you ask me.

Obama as Clintons Vp was discussed on the forum months ago.
My opinion then was that Obama as Veep would make him almost guaranteed pres in 8 years.

Political change doesn't happen quickly, and having first a woman president, then a first black president back to back,
the political change that would ride along like dolphins riding a bow wave could be quite impressive.

I disagree.

If Clinton wins, she has no particular interest in picking a VP to please black voters. They're only 12% of the population, and they vote overwhelmingly Democratic anyway. She'll probably pick a moderate white, male Democrat to reassure the undeclared middle that she's not going off on a (replacement) hormonal hurricane.

Obama, on the other hand, does need to reach out to women voters if he wins, to turn them out in large numbers. He also needs to trump the Republicans on their wedge issue, immigration. This is a prescription for one running mate: Janet Napolitano, Governor of Arizona.
