I don't see this as something that could actually harm obama. Unless a candidate is endorsed by the American Nazi Party or Communist Party then they would have trouble. This could even help him slightly. Even though the liberal relationship with John Kerry is...complicated, he is still quite popular among the DLC democrats and those dems that are closer to the center. Go to the DU and ask them about John Kerry and you will see what I mean. I badmouthed him there nearly a year after the 2004 election. Not only did a lynch mob nearly tear my head off, i got banned as soon as the moderators saw the post.
