Let this be a lesson to everyone who attaches great significance to polling. They got it wrong.

Hillary has always been the front runner in NH. What happened in Iowa was just a little blip - that was magnified into a BIG EVENT by the media and the pollsters.

The UNH pollster Andy Smith who was always presented as an expert got EVERYTHING wrong in 2006. I don't know why he isn't working as a Wal Mart greeter somewhere.

Since the media/pollsters got it wrong - they're trying to find a way to blame NH voters - rather than examine the fact that they fucked up.

Jack might be right. Maybe it's hidden racism.
Pollsters today talking about how they failed to call itr, say that a large percentage of NH voters changed their minds in the last couple of hours, and didn't vote for Obama.

Or maybe not. Remember, you're listening to pollsters again. They desperately need an excuse, to justify their existence. The pollsters called people who have land lines. A whole generation of folks were left out of those polls. Pollsters are no better than the corporate meda - and both groups are pissed off at NH for not doing what we were told.

A lot of people had no frickin' idea who they were voting for until they reached the polls. I heard some very funny and pathetic stories about that today.

What you're failing to understand is that Obama WON in the rural areas, which are likely to be more racist. He won in college towns, and he won on the seacoast. Hillary won in the Manchester/Nashua area. Manchester is our biggest city. It's also the home of the NH Democratic Party Machine. They were behind HRC all the way.

The Guardian

This video clip is of Arnie Arneson, one of NH's most interesting political voices - doing a little analysis of the Clinton victory. The best
part is that she's still trying to figure it out herself.

Arnie hosts the hot NH political TV show, Political Chowder. I've been a guest a few times. She's a hoot.

Maybe because Walmart does background checks.......
