I am looking for a new home discussion board . My old discussion board at Thom Hartmann.com has change to another format and the new board really looks bad-it's small and lacks basic features like a good search engine. Also, it looks like my old threads, over three years worth, are not being transfered to Thom's new board.

This discussion board looks pretty good. I posted here few years ago. I was wonder how long are posts kept on the board here before they are deleted?

Thank you for your kind welcome. I was a member here about three years ago. I remember "Bina" was a member back then,but there were few members. This discussion board's software interface has lots of bells and whistles--really nice!

I have a collection of essays authored by myself and many research articles on the history fascism which I complied since October 2004. In fact, it was this site's posting of Larry Britt's 14 points of Fascism that got me started back in 2004 to collect resources for a critique of Fascism. I would like to share and discuss them here and it would be nice to have them archived. I have used the Old American Century news site daily since 2004....so I am not a total stranger. Thanks again. I will be posting soon.

Posts will be saved until the MySql database gets too big. Our server is pretty big, so we can allot more space to it as needed. I would expect everything to stay on for at least 5 years until I have to do any pruning. That's as long as no technical disasters arise.

Wow! Five years! That's great! This board's interface was pretty good in 2004 but it is really nice now. You won't believe has bad some of the other boards are.

Perhaps this isn't exactly what you are looking for but you can also have some options to change the look of the forum. I have tried them all and i know some are easier to use than others. Go to the forum main page and in the bottom left corner you will find it.

Ok, Jack. I'll take a look. I couldn't upload avatar...got an error that it couldn't be loaded. It is the correct size 150 X 80 and only a few Kbytes.

That doesn't matter. It will shrink it down for you if it is too big. It was probably the wrong kind of file. It happens to me a occasionally.

Anyway, which forum skin did you choose? I'm on "Blue Dreams" right now. I had another one until recently but i forget the name.

I like Blue Dreams which is what I am using.
