Hello Fellow forum members...

I do not post here very often...cause ..my husband does...aka poac...and he wanted me to share... we are celebrating so wine is being consumed... Read at your own risk.

Anyway.. I am way too excited today to hold back... I am so proud of what Iowa did today.... I am so proud of what TJ did....how he stood up... everyone clapped that he said..."yes, I'll do it... I'll stand up for democracy... I'll stand up for the future... I'll stand up for you...." Seriously... everyone clapped.... it was a grassroots issues....... young people...( everyone here is like 60 and over... we need new blood to learn from the veterans!)

If you don't know TJ... he is very quiet... very shy... very introveted... I am soo proud. He stated later... I felt compelled... it is my duty... it is my democrocy... I work from home... I can travel... I have you all... the support....of the site... the forume. the support of the internet.....when I stated ... honey you have districts... and state to get through... you have to convince voters you are the cadidiate... get the money that you can show you are the candidate... work the issues.....

It is you..... and I thank you... you all have supported a man.. .who has dreamed of making a difference... you has strived to make a difference.

Seriously... it's not Obama... it's not Edwards... It's not Hillary.. .... it's us. .... the American people... the change..... and I for one am tired of the money that has controlled the damn elections....I am ready for a new way of life... a new way of thinking ... a new way of living!

I want to thank you all for being a part of POAC .... for supporting... for believing....

Thank you Robin. It's been my pleasure all along.
We have a great group here on the White Rose forum. We aren't a huge forum, but what we lack in size I think we make up for with quality and diversity. The whole project is clearly the result of TJ's vision and leadership.

I'm headed off to bed now feeling better than I have for quite a while.
I think the people won today. Certainly they did in Iowa!
Let's hope that trend continues.

Democracy has been so dismissed as a jaded and faded lip-service song and dance to a beautiful idea, especially since the neocons scammed the show, and it's really, really great to see real people actually volunteering to go foward and stand up for the Democratic dream.

It's easy to bitch and moan, sniping from the sidelines, and being cynical and critical requires next to no energy, but actually taking that flag of freedom, lying trampled and dissabused in the corruption and filth and bearing it aloft, damn, that's a mighty fine sight !!

Yes I did jubal! Yes I did! I had foot surgery on Dec. 11th and he has been a doll.... while I sit on my arse saying "honey...can you please... honey... I would like... honey...." I'll need to take him on vacation when I get all healed up!
