It took me about thirty seconds to realize how much of a idiot he is. Did you guys know that even though about 90% of the most preeminent minds in our time think that there is a problem with global warming and have years of studies to prove that it is real and we caused, and are still causing it, that it is nothing more than a normal cycle? Where do idiots like this come from?
seuss
you ever read tolkein?
they're the relatives of goblins...

they live undergroud, and create devices that keep them from having to work and capture innocent beings to run their machines...

I've read his complete works about six times and I think I must agree with you.

Where do they come from, and how on earth do they gain any credibility/publicity?
Surely having this sever a learning difficulty leads most sufferers down the path of special needs and supported living, not to having their own show on TV??? ohmy.gif
Jimmy
One night he had Richard Branson on. Beck was totally kissing his ass because he's rich. He told Branson that he admires him because he's doing something about global warming, but not because he's been forced to through legislation, but because he knows it's the right thing to do and has found a way to make money on it.

In his very next segment he did something about "Exposing the Global Warming Myth".

Cognative dissonance, double speak, and hypocrisy like that will rot anyone's brain.

Take out/fast food junkies who have lost most of their neuro motor skills by a slow and honorable form of malnutrition. eek.gif

One would think so. His "guest" Penn Gillette(spelling?) seems to have had a few dead brain cells too. At least more than most people. rolleyes.gif

I'm beginning to see just what intelligent Americans are up against! - (See SouthPaws recent post re' the FCC's Christmas gift to the MSM!) Looks like things are about to get worse for you. ph34r.gif

No offense Karen but I find it hard to believe that these types of things are only happening here. If they are then I will be even more horrified than I am now.

Oh, don't missunderstand me, there are reasons I don't watch TV, and tend to take what the British MSM feed me with a large pinch of salt and and more than a little independent research of my own. - I prefer the FULL story, and I like to look behind he headlines. The MSM here sells the government mandated status-quo... not quite my cup of tea! wink.gif
However, in their favour, by and large, then MSM here give their audience credit for a little intelligence. That and Global Warming and its causes are are accepted as fact by the vast majority of reporters and politicians.

on the global warming thing... i know it seems like we're flooded with morons that don't believe in evolution or global warming, but the truth is, they're a small minority. Somebody is stupid enough to give a few of them tv shows, and some get elected from small, rural areas where the only radio stations are run by christian and right wing fundementalists, but the major media outlets generally accept warming annd its causes... a lot of posts here talk about the ignorant ones, simply because we find it sadly humorous that these people still exist. Inhoffe makes headlines because he's really the only politician that still takes oil companies' scientists seriously.

In recent years, all it takes is a little trumped up fear about "islamofacists".

Normally they'd be given a tinfoil hat and a zoloft, but in Bushland they get ratings.

Thank goodness for that! I was beginning to wonder... blink.gif
AntiFlagWaver
Glen Beck represents "Bush's America", along with Rush Limbaugh, all the commentators on Faux News, and so many other conservative commentators of their same ilk. I pay them no mind, but what scares me is how many Americans are tuning into them and agree with their views. These people are what I call "political preachers", and they have a HUGE flock in America.

I'm so sorry. I can recommend you to a good counselor. In the psychological world, watching that show is considered more traumatic than seeing one's parents burn to death. We are here for you buddy. Good luck and be strong.

Ladies, that's a bit below the belt....

I think I can see a Glen Beck listener and viewer, and it's a bit of a scary sight. But I don't see many Dr Ron Who supporters amongst his neoconned ranks of lobotomised cheer-leaders. Highstreet will set me right here.... tongue.gif
Most of the Ron Who supporters seem fairly articulate, informed and actually concerned about the status-quo, and even better, know who the fucking neocons are and what they've done....even though they are possibly deluded about Saint Ron Who's real wide-stance. He's like a muscular Kucinich, raging against the machine, but carressing their egos as well, whereas Dennis is just too much of a nice guy to be taken seriously by people who still think power is how many fearcraft carriers you have and that isolationism is good sense... rolleyes.gif

Muscular? Have you ever heard him talk??

Can one be muscular, yet effeminate? I'm amazed that someone so .....lacking in visual testosterone....has such support.
Rousseau
'Twas a figure of speech, my Dear Maxanne.

Dr Who's appeal is that he has a "rugged" image, something to do with being a WASP male on the right-wing side of the fence.
Dennis just comes across as being a lovely, intelligent, wise and worldly guy who genuinely gives a shit, and would probably be one of the best things to happen to the planet (although not to the parasites, bloodsuckers, leaches, slavetraders, war-mongerers, bankers, neocons and thieves.....)

Unfortunately, in our unenlightened days the good guys usually come last. bawling.gif

It's definitely uncalled for and unfair to equate Ron PAul supporters with Glen Beck fans. C'mon now.

Also, i once watched a segment of Glen Beck's show and was unable to achieve a full erection for two weeks afterward. Let that be a lesson to you all.

It was rather distressing watching a complete moron pompously imitating an intelligent person. I would have liked to choke the self satisfied smirk from his face and found myself breathing hard and clenching my jaw. I imagine my face turned a dark shade of red also. I turned the channel and took a deep breath and it was all better. tongue.gif

LOL! If I were to tell my wife that she would block that channel. eek.gif
