It's funny that the forefront of this push to do a recount in Ohio and other swing states isn't coming from the Kerry campaign. It's coming from voters, election officials, and Bev Harris. Has John Kerry or John Edwards ever met Bev Harris? I respect that they tried to win, but it just pisses me off so much when Democrats refuse to listen to their supporters. It's not that they listen, and then 'well look that's just a crazy conspiracy theory' AFTER reviewing the merits of your claims, they just immediately brush it off. As a supporter, this condescending attitude strikes me as highly disrespectful, and WRONG. Take the precinct in Ohio for example, that gave Bush 4000 votes, and they found out the physical role-call only showed 600 voters. Why is it that despite these PROVEN acts of voter error/fraud are not taken into account by the Democrats? If more Democrats had listened to election specialists, and Bev Harris about PROVEN methods of voter fraud, we could have had a fair election where every vote was accounted for. Even if Democrats couldn't push legislation mandating paper trails for every E-voting machine, they should have fought like mad on the news after the judge's ruling to say 'look, this isn't politics, we just want to make sure EVERY legally cast ballot IS accounted for, that's IT. We aren't interested in stealing elections or anything, we want the elections transparent where neither Democrats nor Republicans can influence the vote counting process. The only way we can do that is to close up every single loophole that jeopardizes an accurate vote count. Having completely fair elections PROVEN to the public beyond any reasonable doubt should be a bi-partisanship move, and we're just really surprised the Republicans don't see eye-to-eye with us on that. You'd think that they'd WANT their victories to be legimitate beyond a reasonable doubt, but go figure.' Surprisingly, Democrats aren't doing any of this, and Kerry conceded, in spite of all the concrete evidence showing foul play. They should have been pouncing on the Republicans on TV, saying "want a paper trail Bush? Why or why not? Why is it that you don't want to close this obvious loophole up? Surely you don't want vote fraud do you? Good then there's no reason for you not to support this bill' A party is in deep shit when their supporters are the actually the ones who are at the forefront of honest elections, not the candidates themselves. A message to Kerry and Edwards: stop talking and start listening and CONSIDER what Bev Harris and others like her have to say about vote counting. Make ur assessment AFTER you have listened, not before. Until you do that, you don't know a damned thing.
