Jack
Perhaps we can shift away from discussions of Hillary Clinton and Ron Paul for a little while.

Ron who ? blink.gif

I reckon the Republicans will win again, because Diefucker Voting machines will ensure this. Also, there is no opposition party, apart from Ron Someone and Saint Denis. Just a silent, echoing void of breathy air where a pin dropping would sound like the hammers of Valhalla beating on the Gong of Awakening.
I watched some C-Span the other day. I never realised that spiders could weave such beautiful webs over the inert, moss-covered stumps of slumbering Democrats. I was amazed though at how they roused themselves and scurried off on vacation, though ! Wow ! Such energy ! They could have stopped a war and impeached some evil mothers with all that energy !! Shame about the spiders and their webs......

Plus, the morons who voted in the Horsemen of the Apocalypse will probably have another go at trying to focus on the punchcard, or accidently tick the wrong box again, and as the neocons are spinning like hurricanes coming to burst ALL the levies with the "War on terra is won !! Oooorahh !! Al Patsi is defeated !! Democrats are pussies !!" which the gullible lemmings will lap up like a cat laps up cream....well, I don't have much hope for a collective airburst of radiant intelligence shocking the apathetic, pathetic masses out of their neocon induced stupor. No siree.

It'll be some smarmy neocon dupe like Gui9/11ani, with Horrowitz and Craphammer taking turns to use him as a sockpuppet, or it will be McCain and the Mil/Ind vote, or the Mormon. He's got nice hair, and as this seems more important to virtually all potential voters than policy or intelligence (hey ! Just look at the last moron !...) I think that the End is near. eek.gif

I predict a decisive Democratic victory in the Electoral College. But all they really have to win is Pennsylvania, Ohio, and/or Florida. If they win all 3 it's a landslide, so if the nominee can outrun the Republican in those states and avoid mass electoral fraud it's clear sailing. But I reckon it's still going to be close in those states. Dems might win a few other western states like Nevada and New Mexico as well.

California will be the whipped cream topping

Sorry Jack, I don't know how anyone could reply to this without mentioning the front runner. I think Hillary could lose it.
Even tho I'd like to see him get the nomination, I think Kucinich could lose it.

In case you haven’t heard, the Republicans don’t even want to wait until Election Day to steal 20 electoral votes this cycle. The CA GOP’s law firm, cloaked behind the admirable-sounding name Californians for Equal Representation, is sponsoring a ballot initiative called the Presidential Election Reform Act. If passed, it would apportion 53 of CA’s 55 electoral votes based on the ballots in individual congressional districts rather than winner-take-all for the whole state, thus throwing a bonus Ohioful of electoral votes to the Republican candidate without him winning a single additional state.
To be honest, this initiative scares the crap out of me. It’s like Joe Lieberman all over again: The GOP will back it, Republican voters will know it for their own, and low-information Democrats and Independents will be taken in by the semblance of reasonable moderateness. With enough suckers and crazybase Republican turnout, it could very well cobble together a majority of the total vote. Also worth mentioning that since CA decoupled the party primaries from the initiative primary, turnout will be low and GOTV will be decisive.

The reds in California need to be watched very closely, and when possible, corrected.
But I think even there the Blue wave will be overwhelming.

It was because they didn't have the money. Now they have it and it isn't.

It is still very unlikely to succeed.

The most republican democrat will win because the media will pick our nominee just like last time. Unless they do a damn good job of rigging ths election, and i don't see that happening again.

That would the clinton but i don't this she will get it. I think right before the primaries, all of these people being polled saying they support clinton will say to themselves "wait, i don't want to vote for her." I think it will be Obama or Edwards.

I think you are also right about the rigging. That only works in very, very, very close elections. Despite what John Zogby says, i don't think this one will be a barn burner.

I think Obama won't make it. The fight will be between Clinton aned Edwards.
Clinton is the Democrat that's most Republican as TJ mentioned,
but Edwards has been saying what the people want to hear.

The Media had chosen Clinton months ago.
But if Edwards can get his message out, which is difficult if the MSM hasn't selected you, he could win.

If Obama throws in with Edwards, I think it's a done deal.

Kucinich has the most progressive ideas, but his whole persona is just a bit off kilter, he can't win.
And Ron who?

Clinton and Edwards fighting it out is funny.

Clinton: "I voted against the will of the people more!"

Edwards: "No, clearly, I have voted against the will of the people more!"

Clinton: "Well, I have at least flip flopped more; they clearly can't trust me."

Edwards: "Well, that's only because you have had more opportunities; I would have flip flopped more, if I had been in Congress as long as you."
