Full Version: Five Factor Personality Test
OLD American Century / White Rose Society message boards > General > The Watercooler
Jack
The five factor model of personality is considered by many psychologist to be a very informative personality test. There are five scales, each with two dimensions. See where you stand. This clearly isn't the most accurate test out there but it seems ok. There are 20 questions, shouldn't take more than 2 minutes to complete.

I prefer this Myers-Briggs quiz. I've found it to be pretty accurate.

I disagree. It was based little on science (even when it was created 70 years ago) and created by people who knew little about psychology (70 years ago).

Had a look at the link you posted Lib, because i have a book which explains that test in great detail, and asks something like 60 or 70 questions, with a choice of 4 answers for each to find your temprement type. This on line test I couldn't complete because I'm in between the 'yes or no' on so many of the questions posed.
In the test I took a few years ago (from the book) I came out as an ENSP, which basically translates as lovely! wink.gif

It's NI-speak. A spide 'tash is one of those wee, feathery 'tashes your average sixteen-year-old, fake Burberry shellsuit-wearing, fake gold-chain sporting, Buckfast-drinking father of three (by different girls) wears because it's the best he can grow.

A spide is somebody who fits those characteristics, as in "ye wee, spacky spide!"

I like NI. The locals don't know what to do with me because I'm obviously not on either side. And they've seen enough Westerns to be worried.
