It is about the same for obama. It is nice to see the republicans number one choice (he is now tied for first with Rudy) couldn't stand up to the democrat's top choicet. Of course things could change but at this point, things aren't looking so good for the pugs.

when I think "blowout" I think clinton's second term. 55 to 42 is decisive, but it's early yet.

The way things have been going lately for the republicans, almost any democrat against almost any republican would result in a democratic blowout. But such things have a way of reversing themselves and changing in unforeseen ways. I'm sorely tempted to dance on the heads of my suffering republican friends, but I know the climate can sometimes change in a flash.

On the other hand, the Bush administration has, IMO 6 1/2 years of malfeasance in office to overcome. I'd far rather focus on that than the scandal du jour, juicy as those may be. Nevertheless, I can't suppress a little snicker: dance.gif
