Shut off most of your mind and then vote. I'm going to go with the Romster.

sky of mind
I went with Thompson.
I know the least about him, but I recognise his face.
(Scary is that this is enough to get him elected)

Good way to vote. I think that is how we got bush. How many people do you think said "i don't like al gore, i'm going for that one guy."

In fact, Thompson scares the hell out of me more than any of these other guys. The fact that i know nothing about this guy is very scary. God would not make a man look like that unless it was a clear warning to all of us that he is evil. He made bush look like a chimp to show us all that he is not evolved.

I went with romney because he is the most liberal candidate that doesn't talk about nothing but terrorism.

Please, keep in mind that none of this means that i support any of these people in any way.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate all american patriots.
Libertas
Romney on the following grounds:

1. His record does not match his rhetoric. There is every indication he is not a hard-core right-winger (Freddy) or a neocon (Rudy, at least in training).
2. He is the most likely to be a harmless incompetent than a harmful incompetent.
3. He stands to have the least support of the three from evangelicals because of his religion.

I'd go with whichever one the editorial cartoonists would enjoy caricaturing most. Rudy or Fred? I dunno.
Jimmy
Fred Thompson.

Beause he played a crooked drug dealing cop in Fletch and I think I could actually get behind someone like that. rolleyes.gif

+++Edit+++
I retract that, it was actually his non-evil twin Joe Don Baker in Fletch. Can we nominate that guy instead???

Careful....Rudy has that stupid chipmunk smile, bald head, and big ears. Thompson has some semblance of a sense of humor.....Im thinking Rudy would be the target from hell.

I have been reading up on Thompson and as far as i can tell, he is a pretty hardline conservitive. He is the classic definition of "neo-con". I can't find an issue that he disagrees with bush on. I think he is the worst of those three choices and may be the worst of the entire republican field.

I think with Thompson as president would be a lot like having Cheney as president (like what we have now i guess).

I think Giuliani would be a highly unpopular, one term president. I don't think he would know how to get off the subject of terrorism and would be unpopular with democrats because of that and unpopular with republicans due to his liberal social views.

I think Romney would be a lot like George Bush Sr. A right of center, not too extreme but still not the kind of person you would want as president, kind of....president.
