This guy worked as a projectionist in the theatre and got himself a camera and started filming the townspeople on the street, who would then come to see themselves on the movie screen. Cheap entertainment during the depression. Kinda cool

Very cool, TJ. I love black and white photography. Odd how it infers a reality and a humaness to its subject that's often lost in color. To watch these wonderful people go about their daily lives and realize those times are 70 yrs past is a reminder of our own mortality (like I needed that!) and to realize the challenges that generation overcame makes our own future seem more hopeful.
