Full Version: Musings on CapitalNews Polls
OLD American Century / White Rose Society message boards > Political Discussion forums > POLLS/SURVEYS

I usually check out the CapitalNews site each day, and they have a daily online poll about current political topics. The poll question may be just yes or no or offer several options to measure public sentiment on the topic. I find it odd, but encouraging, that the response I choose is usually the same one chosen by 65-70% of those taking the poll. Thing is, my response is almost always the most "liberal"one. Does this mean that 65-70% of the population is liberal? Does it mean that liberals are much more likely to take the poll? Are they trying to trick me by showing me phony results blink.gif If this many people are really this liberal, a lot of politicians are really missing the boat and Kucinich should be running far ahead in the polls. Anyhow, here's todays: ( I know, not quite 65% today, but usually).

The vast majority of Americans ARE liberal. Even among those that call them selves conservative.
Unfortunately, the media has not done a good job of informing the people about the real issues.
This is why some times they are refered to as sheeple. Not because they don't care, but because they are aren't sufficiently informed. The Media is complicet and hand in hand with Bushco, failed policy and the growth of presidential power.

When the media reports the complete truth, liberal America reacts accordingly.
