Anyway I can get a ride on this forum? A good friend guided me to the Old American Centrury site. Looks like it has all the luxuries of a stretch limousine.

Should I be welcome aboard and allowed to post, I could explain how I was raised as a republican, and some guided spirit flooded my soul and I became a democrat.. Some may call me a liberal, and others may call me other names.

even worse, i was brought up a pentecostal fundamentalist republican- and now am a liberal democrat...

we need more of 'us' to argue with 'them...' i'm afraid there's a communication gap between lifelong liberals and republicans...

OMG Tamara! Sheesh, talk about delayed stress! ;-)

The family next door where I grew up, my second family, was a good Catholic family. 11 kids! Anyway, i grew up an observer to the divout Catholic lifestyle. And the children of this lifestyle grow up to either accept all the "teachings" of the Catholoc church and become good Catholics them selves, or they reject religion outright!

Of the 11 kids, none of them are fence sitters on the question of religion.

Sheesh Tamara, after all that and you seem to be relatively sane! I guess it's true what they say...
That which does not kill me can only serve to make me stronger!

BTW If you are religious today that fine. I don't hold it against anyone.
However, when your religious beliefs dictate that you must tell me that my beliefs are wrong, then I will fight with you and your religion!

i am a christian - am a quaker.

i believe in nonviolence and love.

so i guess, technically, i'd tell you that you were wrong if you believed in war and greed... you'll eventually get to see me go 'up' against one of the christian coalition trolls...

i read the words in red- fundamentalist evangelical beliefs are as far from 'christlike' as possible, and i call those people anti-christ.

but i did go through my athiest stage... eventually i decided not to throw the baby jesus out with the bathwater (heh heh)

and yeah, i probably do have PTSD (pentecostal traumatic stress disorder).
