These are two pretty good quizzes to help determine which candidate best reflects your views. But to borrow from Dave Letterman, please no wagering. laugh.gif

The first one said Sharpton was closest to my views, with 40% agreement.
The second said Obama with 62%.

Last I checked, both of those guys think I should go to jail for my choice of smoking material. sad.gif
seuss
I did one of these a little while ago, and it said kuccinich was closest, which didn't surprise me.

What did surprise me was Hillary came in second - and doesn't want to put you in jail for your choice of smoking material! eek.gif I though she was a warrior on drugs, but it seems as though she want treatment instead of prison.

I should probably just keep it confidential what it said I was closest to. tongue.gif

My top matches were Obama and Kucinich, at 78%. Gravel was way down. I am surprised, and not sure I believe it.

Well, Dennis Kucinich wont be calling for my campaign dollar according to what that poll says.

Hey, here's a fun idea, pretend it's opposite day!
try these voting exactly opposite to what you normally would so you can know who to investigate and smear!
It's a good ides to know your enemy. Case in point: Iraq "mission accomplished"
I'm gonna go try it now!

I'd like to warn everyone that the second quiz asks for your email and other information before it gives you any answers.

It was the same when I signed the Pelosi petition and now I get stuff from Code Pink all the time.

anniefey, no disrespect, but you could add some sort of disclaimer to any links that will send your personal information to third parties?

I think you can fake it. I created a new e-mail address for it, and so far it didn't send me anything.

I had the same problem, but the unsubscribe/remove link took care of it, with no masked recurrence (and I would know, because I created a unique address for codepink too). It did irritate me that I had to do that, but at least they honored my wish in the end.

For me, Kucinich, hands down.

I went ahead and created a free email account for just such occasions. I check it every month and delete everything.

Free email at happyhippie.com, in case you have trouble finding free accounts.

For the first quiz I had Hillary and Sharpton tied for first with Obama and Kucinich tied for second. My top eight where Democrats with the ninth and tenth place being Republicans. Hunter was in last place.

The second quiz had Obama first with Dodd in second and Kucinich in third. Hunter again was at the bottom so I know I am not voting for that guy.

Obviously you weren't going too fast, or you'd be posting from the afterlife. I assume the car was a total. I hope you didn't suffer any permanent effects from the crash.

I was going too fast - but it was midnight and no one was on the road, so I could take some quick corrective measures. I hit the brakes as hard as I could, swerved to the left (he was racing out onto the road from the right) and minimized the impact somewhat. I didn't hit him head on. It also helped that it was a teenaged moose, not a full grown male.

The only fatality was a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I had some minor scratches from broken glass, and colorful bruising from the seatbelt.

That said - I was wicked lucky. That same weekend, a guy north of me hit one while riding a motorcycle. He wasn't so lucky.

I've had my pants soiled more than once.
I'm not fond of that stuff, so I put those ultra high pitched whistlers on the truck.
Dunno if they work or not. Do know that my laundry got easier.
