Empowering Veterans

Check out their list of 10 Senators who aren't friends of veterans:

Alexander, TN , Chambliss, GA, Cochran, MS, Coleman, MN, Cornyn, TX , Dole, NC ,Graham, SC
Roberts, KS , Sessions, AL , Sununu, NH

Some good info on this site. I particularly liked this statement:
QUOTE
We believe that those who have served their country in the Armed Forces have earned the right to question, criticize, and dissent from the policies of the Bush Administration without being accused of “moral confusion,” “appeasing the enemy” or having their loyalty and patriotism questioned. We also believe that this right is the birthright of all Americans.

Damn. Looks like my fellow Texan is going to get a "what the fuck is wrong with you" letter from a Vet here in Texas. I met the man awhile back...you should have heard the glowing things he said about his tireless work on our behalf. Thanks....I have a letter to write.

Naaa. I posted a question for the site God and he e-mailed me combat quick with a response. Generalized...but a response. I asked what was behind the "no" vote. Was it budget contraint, didnt like the language of the Bill, ect....his answer was ...well, he is NOT a fan of GWB and he isnt a fan of those 10 Senators, asked for me to volunteer in Texas, ect....

Im all about helping vets but it would seem his MAIN agenda is to unseat these guys (guyettes) by whatever means necessary.

But, I WILL write Mr. Cornyn. I won't be volunteering for service to that organization quite yet.

When you do decide to give the time, please keep us posted.
You have a writing flair and the information you could share might be very informative and helpful.

The only Senator who has taken more campaign contributions from big oil than James "Hoax" Inhofe of Oklahoma is Cornyn of Texas.

That entire group of Repukes listed is at least now a little lighter after the last November election.

Well, Danny......this IS Texas and regardless of who says what...Oil still reigns supreme. Bet you would be surprised on how much money the Oil Lobby gave some of the Dems too.
