Pentagon Report Slams ‘Dubious’, ‘Unreliable’ Pre-War Intel
A long-awaited report from the Pentagon’s inspector general singles out pre-war intelligence worked up by the office of former defense official Douglas Feith – and propagated enthusiastically by the White House – as being of “dubious quality or reliability”. Feith’s interpretation of existing analyses was so politically driven, the report contends, that it amounted to “an alternative intelligence assessment process.” Feith’s defense: “In presenting it I was not endorsing its substance.”

One of these days pretty soon, Impeachment will be back on the table.
Dick first, then Condi, then George. All before November 08.
That's my prediction.

Him saying he presented it without endorsing its content is about as credible as Clinton saying he smoked but didn't inhale. I just shake my head at what people are allowed to get away with in this country. In a country where everything is spun, truth has no meaning anymore. Why should the sheeple care about this? It will go ten miles over their head along with all the other shit they not only do not see, but do not care enough to try to see. Besides, Fox News will explain this in a way that they can understand and accept, and that makes it all look ok. Gotta love America under Bush.

Interesting, this story is all over the MSM tonight.
Wish they had covered it 2 years ago when it was a fresh story. But even so I'm glad they are now.

Again my prediction is that Impeachment will be back on the table very soon.
First Dick, then Condi, then Bush. All before November 08. (The others saved them selves that embarasment by quiting)

Look for the DLC Money Democrats to lead the impeachment charge.

Gadzooks!
I can't wait to hear Doug Filth telling a reporter he has no comment on the matter on the advice of his attorney.

Won't happen.

That's my prediction.

The Dems will gloss over this as they did over all the other major scandals from 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Bush won't be impeached, nor tried for impeachment. The main person necessary to start this is Pelosi, and she has steadfastly refused to do so.

Dick Cheney has about as much chance of being impeached as a warthog has for growing tits.

Condi Rice is an "appointed" person, and therefore exempt from impeachment.

My prediction is that Toeg will continue to claim that Democrats are the same as Republicans.
Is this a good deal for the Democrats?

Further I predict that Toeg will continue with this delusional theory inspite of over whelming evidence to the contrary,
which will eventually lead to the suspicion that Toeg is a Republican operative, even if he himself doesn't know it.

VIDEO: Feith Stands By False Claim That Iraq Had Links To Al Qaeda »

In an interview with CNN, former Undersecretary for Defense Doug Feith stood by the now-debunked claim that Iraq had a pre-war relationship with al Qaeda. Feith told Wolf Blitzer that former CIA Director George Tenet's statement in October 2002 claiming there was a link is still "the best information on the subject."

Pressed to defend his claim, Feith said, "I've not been in the government for the last year and a half — there may be some more intelligence on that subject." Watch it:

Feith didn't need to be in government to know that Tenet's October 2002 statement has since been discredited. Subsequent analyses have debunked any relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda. For example:

Senate Intelligence Committee Report Found No "Material Or Operational Support." Saddam Hussein "was distrustful of al-Qa'ida and viewed Islamic extremists as a threat to this regime, refusing all requests from al Qa'ida to provide material or operational support." [Senate Phase II report, 9/8/06]

9-11 Commission Report Said No "Collaborative Operational Relationship" Existed Between Iraq and Al Qaeda. "We have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States." [9-11 Commission Final Report, 7/22/04]

Senate Intelligence Committee Report Found No "Established, Formal" Relationship Between Iraq and Al Qaeda. The Senate Intelligence Committee's report said that there was no "established, formal" relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda, nor proof that the two had collaborated in attacks. [Senate Phase I report, 7/9/04]
Full transcript: http://thinkprogress.org/2007/02/09/feith-defense/
BLITZER: Are you ready to acknowledge there were no WMD? Are you ready to acknowledge there was no connection between Saddam and al Qaeda?

FEITH: We did not find WMD stockpiles. We found WMD programs. And the Duelfer report, as I'm sure you know, was very clear on what we found in the WMD area. Although we did not find the stockpiles, we found he had the facilities, he had the personnel, he had the intention. It wasn't the way the CIA described.

BLITZER: What about on the al Qaeda connection?

FEITH: On the al Qaeda connection, George Tenet on October 7th, 2002, wrote an unclassified letter to the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee laying out the relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda.

BLITZER: So you believe there was a connection?

FEITH: I believe George Tenet.

BLITZER: But now you know that was false.

FEITH: No, I've never heard it was false.

BLITZER: To this day you believe he was working with al Qaeda? FEITH: I believe that what George Tenet published in October of 2002 was the best information on the subject, and as far as I know — that is largely — I mean there may be — I've not been in the government for the last year and a half. There may be some more intelligence on that subject. I'm telling you from the time George Tenet published his findings on the Iraq/al Qaeda relationship, which was that they had a relationship for ten years and they talked about various things — bomb making and safe haven and other issues — that that was, the U.S. government's best understanding of the subject. I never criticized that in public or in private.

Very interesting.

I will always claim that they are one in the same. I certainly have enough evidence to back up my statement.

But I would be interested in your attempts to prove me wrong.

Until now you have provided nothing.

I know that bobble-heading the events is a good copout these days. I just like to talk about the truth and what is really going on. I try to stay away from the convenient bobble-head approach to world events that you like so much.

Thanks Bill O'Reilly,

The above just proves my point once again. The Democrats don't mind lying, they just abhor the fact that the Republicans can do it better than they.

Too bad too, because sometimes you DO have worthwhile crap to discuss.
But it's becoming fo muddled and fogged by your emotional stubborness and the fact that you have made this personal,
that few if any on this forum will no longer bother with you.

Fact is, many have you on ignore!

I don't, because I'm the cat that likes to play with his prey before it is eaten.
In other words I'm bored, and you make a reasonable distraction.
Please don't get any more stupid, or that will end. And then we'll both be sad.

I've been threatened many times on this forum.

Should I consider this as one more "last chance" threat that this forum will take away my constitutional rights to free speech based on the fact that I speak the truth??

Ya know, I have spoken with many friends in Europe who post on forums there. They are never threatened and they were totally surprised when I told them that I was threatened in the US. "Can the 'free' US actually ban someone for speaking their mind?" they asked.

I replied, "Not only can they, they are in the process of doing this we me. The freedom of speech barely exists in the US, and if anyone speaks out against the status quo in the US, they are immediately threatened with bannishment."

Thanks sky once again for proving my point. I couldn't have done it without you.

I'm saying, if you and your posts get any more stupid, I will lose interest and won't want to continue this verbal jousting with you.
If you get any more stupid, it won't be fun anymore.

If this happens, then you won't get the attention, and I won't have you to use for mental floss, and we'll both be sad.

Actually, no I do not wish to debate your "theories" in a convivial or a staid manner. I don't wish to discuss them at all!

Also, I would check that court of law thing real carefully. This is text, on the internet, and I'm not some guy talking to what I think is a little girl, who in fact is some 42 year old undercover police agent.

In a country where there is no accountability (or demand for accountability from the people) for repeated and incessant lies and misrepresentations, statements like this barely raise an eye-brow anymore. It is just one more lie in a never-ending river of lies. What is so terribly sad is that the Sheeple and MSM bathe in the river every single day and do not seem to realize that those are turds floating in the water. Even worse I fear that if they did realize, they would just shrug their shoulders and continue bathing.
