Sen. Clinton sounds like she's going all-out for that Zionist/Neocon vote.

Hillary Clinton calls Iran a threat to U.S., Israel

New York, Feb.2 (ANI): New York Senator and 2008 Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has called ran a danger to the U.S. and one of Israel's greatest threats.

"No option can be taken off the table when dealing with that nation. U.S. policy must be clear and unequivocal: We cannot, we should not, we must not permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons," Clinton said at a rally of Israeli supporters here.

Clinton also spoke at a Manhattan dinner held by the largest pro-Israel lobbying group in the U.S., the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

Clinton, the front-runner for her party's presidential nomination, called for dialogue with foes of the United States, saying Iran "uses its influence and its revenues in the region to support terrorist elements."

"We need to use every tool at our disposal, including diplomatic and economic in addition to the threat and use of military force," she said.

I've never had any illusions about who Hillary Clinton is. No one should be surprised by this. She is just a very ambitious woman trying to get to be President any way she can. Her principals depend on how the polls look at any particular moment. If any progressive is seriously thinking of voting for her in 2008, you better think again. She is plainly obvious for all who has eyes to see. I would rather see McCain be President than her, and that is no lie. IMO, her decision to run will lead to a Republican President in 2008. Her personal ambitions are more important to her than the good of her party or the country. She will not win no matter what she does, but she may very well get the nomination, and if she does, then that will be that.

Hillary is among the leadership of the Neo-Liberal DLC. It makes perfect sence that she spoke at an AIPAC meeting.
Hillary is one of the enemies of the People. Hillary represents the Corporate world, and NOT the people of America.

The way I see it, we have roughly 18 months to educate America about the Neo-Liberals.
They learned about the Neo-conservatives, they can handle this too!

Count me on board, Sky. This confirms my worst anxieties about her. Add to this the hatred so many conservatives and sexists have for her, and the utter ruthlessness with which they will savage her, and she adds up to the worst possible nominee for 2008, virtually guaranteeing a Republican victory.

The MSM is selecting the Democratic Party Presidential candidates for us, whether we like it or not. The sheeple are not strong enough to resist this influence, even if they took the time to really think about it, which they won't. They will simply "accept" what is front of them and eat it without question, like they normally do.

Hillary or Obama, choose your poison. Either way, the next President will be a Republican.

The MSM is selecting, and the behest of the DLC. The DLC represents corporate America, and the MSM is part of Corporate America! So yeah! Vote Hillary by golly!

But wait, the Deaniacs and the Netroots have not yet begun to grind out true pregressive results! It's not yet time!

According to fairly recent NEC data, Hillary, as Senator from New York, gets more money from AIPAC ("New York Money") than anyone else in Congress, even Joe Lieberman. Could that be why she won't reveal how her money is raised? I wish Al Gore would run.

Give it a year, and I think he will.

A very "cut throat" game is being played here. The longer the MSM gets the American Public/Sheeple accustomed to the idea of "Hillary vs. Obama", the harder it is going to be for another (progressive) candidate to come in and start to compete with those two. Its not just about money, although money is a very big part of it. Its also about the acceptance and general expectations of the American people to the candidates. It is far from a level playing field, and there is nothing "fair" about it. An honest progressive candidate who tries to come into the race later will find him or herself at a huge disadvantage.

A lot of people are very serious about certain candidates becoming President, and they will do whatever is neccessary to make that happen. What chance in hell does Joe Progressive have in this environment? You tell me.

I really do not agree!

Keep in mind that the Deaniacs and those who work with the Netroots are NOT stupid people.
Remember what happened last NOvember! That was just the beginning!

Joe Progressive made his voice heard November 7th, 2006. Why is that so hard to accept?

Your optimistic, Sky. While the last election was based on dissatisfaction with current admin, I think as much of the vote was predicated on people WANTING more, better, ect and feel like the Dems can give them that. And Hillary is by no means too honorable to play THAT card HARD! And she will and regardless of her past actions....she appeals to a great many people. She will embellish on any and every issue that makes her look good. She'll use Bill who remains VERY popular. Her chances are not as bad as some think. Nor do I believe for a minute that the people are as savy as you think. Some are but most are not. While she is known by some as a witch, some really like her for that. She will not win a Presidential election though I do think she could take the Democratic ticket. I have NO use for her as a potential President. And I would NOT play poker with her.
AntiFlagWaver
You wouldn't play poker with her why, because she would cheat? wink.gif

I know she would do anything to win, including cheating. To say I distrust her would be a gross understatement. And you are right that Sky is too optimistic, but we've already been down the road too many times to take another trip.

I have absolutely no doubt that Hillary will play what ever card will do the trick. Recall, she's got Bill to help out, and that guy has one of the most brilliant minds in DC, even if his politics sometimes suck! (pun intended)

Still, it is very possible to illustrate the truth in a way that joe schmoe average american will be able to see and understand.

Abell. Last November the people said they didn't trust the plan the Republicans have foisted on america for the better part of a decade. Instead, they want to go back and retry the Progressive alternative. The idea being, this progressive shit wasn't all bad, and the Republican crap has been worse than could have been imagined. Lets give these Democrats another chance.

Hillary can't win. If hillary wins the nomination, the democrats will have done the John Kerry all over again!
