I lived in California when Jerry Brown was governor and he's always been a quirky kind'a hero of mine, especially since he used to date Linda Ronstadt. I didn't know he was elected Atty General in California! I think this is great news and a good omen for the state. 'Zooks, Yank, why didn't you tell me about this?

Heh heh, that reminds me of my mother telling me "Look it up in the dictionary" when I'd ask what a word meant.
Another good omen in CA, Debra Bowen, Sec. of State, she'll fix the disenfranchisement crap that Ahnuld's appointee McPherson started; and Jerry Brown can help. And we're saddled with Ahnuld because the DLC takes CA for granted in pResidential elections, senate and house seats. They don't care who we get as governor. We do, people with pensions do, people with medical bills do, people with kids in the UC system do. State employees do, teachers do, firemen do, grocery workers do. All unions do. We care quite deeply and this was a thorn in my side for the last election. A few TV ads where the people live might have helped. But no. Instead Kerry made his latest gaffe at a Phil Angelides rally and nobody remembered a thing but Kerry's hoof inside his own mouth. Again.
Also in our Congressional district there was absolutely no excuse not to mount a big D campaign against the incumbent rubber stamper R whose desire to retire "for health reasons" was stymied by a few elbow twists from Dreier and the RNC.

There's so much I don't know. Yet.
