If the Dems retake power, I hope this is the FIRST question to be investigated.
And if during the course of this investigation, these charges are are proven out with evidence and documentation,
Then I would absolutely expect a Trial, no matter how ugly and no matter how lengthy.

If they are guilty of fucking up and then lying about it to cover their ass, impeachment is enough.
But if in fact they are guilty of mass murder, for profit, then they are lower than common criminals and should be sent to Texas for public execution.
