I just got done seeing Cindy Sheehan speak here in Syracuse. It was a really great event and surprisingly there were no protesters. I even got to ask a question! woop!

Well, (there was a professor also with her who was speaking about the militarization of our culture) and I asked if the government has an interest in keeping us economically and socially disadvantaged in order to 1) make us easier to militarize and 2) Stifle activism.

And the answer was a resounding yes. The professor spoke about recruiters and techniques and the relationship between access to higher education and militarization of our society.

so im guessing the speakers where liberal... do either have some show of some sort, or do they tour around and give speeches... but ya dood, nice question. were u expecting that answer. sorry bout all lower case and now question mark, im on a crappy school laptop and the shift, cntrl, and alt keys don't work.
