This is where I first saw it> the site its centered around "CAFE" though. but we should all start em in our home towns anyways. White Rose Style.

Get a CAFE going? Meaning what, exactly? A group of activists? A weekly dinner party of activists? What? What do you suggest? I have had the same thought for quite some time now. I know there would be a gigantic need for it.

And that although they were exicuted for standing up to the Third Reich, they were exicuted because of their principles did not support the oppression, destruction, persecution of thoses deemed by their government as being undesirables. The WRS spoke out because the basic principles of the Democratic Germany were being ripped away from their foundations and in that process so was the understanding of human decency.

We now live in a society where passive resistance will get you beaten up by the police. Where peaceful civil disobedience will get you arrested. Where speaking out requires a permit if you gather in the public square in groups. Demonstrating is free IF behind fenced in areas or behind police lines of resistance.

The five members of the WRS were tried and convicted by an appointed judge who was the jury, appointed by Hitler, and summarily executed all for "Leafleting," a subversive act. Not too far different than that of the new MCA.

Now, it is subversive to speak out against the Administration. You may not be arrested for it, but ridicule and admonishment are sure to follow.

In fact if anything by past standards, we still have it pretty good.

I strongly suspect if the Blue Wave hadn't won, they would have stepped up their attacks on the constitution and been even more bold in their ellegal activities. I suspect had the Blue not won, that their dominance and decay of America might not have been able to be stopped.

As it is, there's still a whole lot of work and repair to do. The middle east is for sure a powder keg, while our economy teeters on the brink.
