Gee, what happened to Lieberman's 15 point lead or whatever that one poll had him at last week?

LinkThis Independent bid is totally counter-productive. Make me wonder what OTHER Democrats are in Bush's back pocket.

LinkI'll be so happy to see Lieberman go. What a tool. I'm glad that the Dems as a whole are backing Lamont, and with Lieberman using GOP rhetoric to attempt to win an election that is Democratic almost by default, I think he'll see that bite him in the ass.

Its like the Superbowl. Fans on one side, say "our team will win". The other side says, "NO, OUR team will win". In the end, you still have to play the game to see the results.

What it boils down to for me is Lamont is against the war, Liberman is for the war. The electorate is against the war. So what we have is Liberman saying he doesn't care what the electorate thinks, He's for the war and that's that. Not exactly a representavive of the "of the people, for the people, by the people". Me me me , my my my. If he ignores the demands of the people he should be ashamed of even running.
Maybe I'm wrong and the "overall" electorate of CT is pro war, but I doubt it. They work for us, we don't work for them. They answer to us, we don't have to answer to them. Pity so many elected officials seem to forget that.
