I was surprised to see that Max saw my post over at Liberals Only had been removed. But then I recalled, that's not the POAC. Here we don't remove stuff simply because it's critical of us or our motives. We let it die on the vine through it's own vanity.



I posted what I did over there, because I didn't wanna leave all that crap with out a single counter effort for ballance. I did so knowing the possibility of a forum war it might create. And though I won't tell anone to not do what I did, I would caution all of us that these sorts of things are counter to what the POAC is all about.

I didn't post here, what I posted there, because I consider that to be very dirty laundry, and it has no place on the forum. But now that I have done that, and quickly responded to one nasty PM from Scorp, I'm done with that and them. This forum is about quality, integrity and truth. The POAC clearly is better of.

To this end, I think it's time we put this behind us and make the effort to focus forward, and get back to the purpose of this forum.





Scorp, Catherine, Amanda and Tapper. You'll all be missed. Just, not that much!
Those of you who wish to be active on both forums, please help to minimize the cross forum crap.

This whole thing kinda cracks me up. The thread where people were trashing POAC, I deleted wholesale because I started the friggin' thing to plug POAC, and it got hijacked.

I don't delete stuff critical of me, hell, I thrive on it. Flame wars rock. But I'm with you guys, this cross forum pain in the ass stuff has to quit. Sky said it best. We're still under neo-con accidentally fascist rule, and THAT'S the thing we need to be pissed off about.

Meanwhile, I think I love you guys. This place is pretty cool, and it has better software than mine.

I went there, and I posted, but I did not go there to harrass anyone.

I went there to see with my own eyes what people had been saying. I saw quite a lot of really negative, hurtful and childish ranting about TJ and the White Rose, and much of it was just plain wrong.

So, I did what I had not intended to do. I registered, and I posted.
I sent the full text of that post to TJ, so he's 100% informed.

I did not violently flame anyone, though I did wag a finger at all 4 of them, as a group and individually.
For this effort, it seems I have been banned from that forum. Frankly, I doubt those 4 would welcome me there, which would always create friction, so I never intended to be a part of that forum.


~A does however seem to be a pretty good guy. I intend to write him a PM to explain myself and appologize.
Following that idea for humility, do we suppose we might give Able and CA a chance to prove them selves as either the ass holes some of us think they are, or the misunderstood, under-educated, but generally pretty good guys others think they are?

Sky, I have a kinship with those two that you do not and cannot understand. The shit in your pants is none of my business and my relationship with two other veterans is none of yours.

Sky didn't say anything out of line. Just his feelings on the matter and standing up for me in response to their attacks on me, the Project, and my character. But it did get the flames a flaming (dare I say 'hens a clucking?) and didn't serve a constructive purpose. Again, more detriment from the responders than the one who made the initial statement.

Since you ask, I would advise against it...

My intention was not to staighten out any wayword children. That's a done deal. Nuf said.
My intention was for OTHERS unfamilier with THIS forum, to offer up something to conter ballance the bullshit the 4 had been filling that thread with.

Sorry. I don't give fair shakes. "Fair" simply means that events fall in my favor (a fair wind, a fair deal, etc.) and I will not cede the desire to have events and circumstance fall in my favor. Too many people don't know the difference between "fair" and equitable.

Fair implies that you don't lean one way or another, but let it fall as it will, then judge as impartially as possible from that result.



I wanna know if these guys are the real deal, and if we push them away cause we're "upset" that answer might never be known.

Abell and CA both seem like decient people, and if TJ recommends we lighten up on them, since I respect TJ that only ads to my opinion.
