Ohio's hard to figure Max. This is what they were saying just a couple weeks ago. DeWine's so desperate he's already brought out the attack ads with pictures of the burning towers and all the terrorists. Hard tew beleeve us Ohioans is so dum that so menny of us'd fall for that. All polls have been showing we should pick up a governership at least, but with Blackwell (who's also the Republican candidate) in charge of the election who knows?

Rep. Sherrod Brown leads Sen. Mike DeWine in poll
Zogby says challenger ahead 46.7% to incumbent's 34%
From staff and wire reports
In the race for U.S. Senate, U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown, D-Avon, has a commanding lead over incumbent Sen. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, in a newly released Zogby/Wall Street Journal online poll.
The poll shows Brown ahead 46.7 percent to DeWine's 34 percent with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percent.
The results are similar to a SurveyUSA poll from last week that showed Brown leading 48 percent to DeWine's 39 percent.
Earlier polls, however, showed DeWine with as much as a 10-point lead over Brown.
The Senate race is one of the most closely watched in the country and will reflect its national importance over the next few weeks as President Bush and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton come to Ohio to campaign.
Clinton, a possible presidential candidate in 2008, plans to speak to Brown's supporters Saturday at a private event in an office building at Cleveland's Public Square.
Bush is slated to make his fifth visit to Ohio this election year on June 30 for a DeWine fundraiser.
DeWine also plans to have former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, another possible 2008 presidential hopeful, for a July 10 fundraiser in Cleveland.
