What is a likely scenario of any terrorist attacks? In the name of "security" and the "safety of the American people" (I can already hear him saying it with a shrug of the shoulders and forced grin) what rights will we be asked to give up? When we go onto a war footing on our shores I wonder how far the
Constitution will go towards protecting freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and any others that will be either removed or impinged upon.

The war we export will surely hit our own shores someday in the future, and when it does, an administration like this one is capable of doing anything.

Danny, I don't think there will be any terrorists attacks. There have been none so far. wry2.gif

As long as the ppl remain willfully ignorant there will be no more attacks.......

If they want to hit us so bad how come a 13yo kid can make Napalm on his kitchen stove but a terrorist cant figure out how to bomb a commuter rail or a bus in this country????

Teenagers injured while making napalm
NFPA Journal, Jul/Aug 1997 by Tremblay, Kenneth J

Two teenaged boys were burned as they tried to make homemade napalm using a recipe they copied from the Internet. The mixture ignited, and flames spread to kitchen cabinets in the singlefamily home. News acounts said that the boys, ages 13 and 14, received first- and second-degree burns.

The single-story home was of unprotected, wood-frame construction and measured 50 by 24 feet. It had smoke detectors but no sprinklers.

The boys used a double boiler to heat gasoline on top of an electric stove in the kitchen. Based on the recipe, they believed, incorrectly, that other steps in the procedure would neutralize the gasoline vapors, but the vapors were ignited by the hot stove burner.

Firefighters arrived four minutes after an 11:37 a.m. call to 911 and extinguished the blaze with a portable extinguisher. Property damage wasn't reported.

News accounts quoted the local police chief as saying it's a "sad indictment on society" that kids have ready access to recipes for homemade bombs.

Theres enough chemicals under your kitchen sink to do damage on a small scale so if kids can think of this shit why not trained terrorists?

The gov't can only take the liberties that you let them.

If there is another terrorist attack I predict:

It will quickly be tracked back to Iran and probably involve a low-yield Nuke or perhaps be labeled a "Dirty Bomb".

It will enter the country through one of the ports that Bush wanted to hand over control of to Dubai. The dubai company will quickly point out the system that they would have implemented would have caught it.

-OR-

It will come in in the next few weeks on one of the transports bringing the American citizens home from Lebanon and quickly be blamed on Hezbollah/Iran.

It will also come to light that the Gov't was tracking those responsible and were listening in on phone conversations, but lost track of them when the terrorist were tipped off about domestic surveillance by all the news coverage. The same thing with their financial transactions.

The goal here is to figure out the most likely scenario that will rally the U.S. populace behind an attack on Iran AND blame Liberals for any failure on the part of the U.S. Gov't to protect us.

And let them people will, hell, half the country will fight for the right TOO let them. The danger of Fascism is it is only carried out under the will of the people (or a very powerful minority, of which perfectly describes the Repugs.)

And its only a matter of time. Terrorist attacks will hit this country. That's gonna happen. Could be small or they could pull off something on a greater scale, perhaps even a calamity that rivals 9/11 in some way. Or maybe it wont be as deadly.

But when it occurs, this government may very well find even greater ways to abuse its authority then at present.

Part, or all of that scenario, could come true. The last sentence is especially true.

Dubai STILL is in control of 21 US ports. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, another Dubai company manufactures military equipment parts.

Do not forget, Anthrax WAS US military grade.

I totally see the Dirty Bomb scenario. Thanks Bushie, you're doing a heck of a job.

And most recently, our Government is tracking home grown Hezbola/Hamas groups.
